"Stroke Story" free for limited time!

Hello, friends!

Just a short post to let you know the 2nd edition of my memoir, "Stroke Story: My Journey There and Back," Kindle version, is free through Wednesday, November 1st.  The softcover is lovely,  and would make a thoughtful gift to stroke or traumatic brain injury survivor,  her family and friends.

Update on adoption reunion - Photos below are two of my three paternal half-sisters, with myself at center, taken 10/21/17.  Our reunion at Carol's house was wonderful and warm! Twenty paternal kin joined us in Anderson, SC for a feast and sharing stories.

Indian Summer

Fall is coming on in Pennsylvania,   and perhaps in Florida, too, but still in the high 80's in both places. My husband and I have opted to stay in PA near our  elderly Moms for a couple more October weeks, before we return to Sarasota, Phil returns to work, and I to a full writing schedule for a few months.
On our agenda, a day trip to Jim Thorpe in the Poconos, with hopes of some leaf change, and to enjoy the autumn coziness of  an old train town and the Fall Festival.

Update Happy to report my "When All Else Fails" is published in the Fall Issue, "The Wisdom of Frailty" of The Remembered Arts Journal. Thanks so much to Editor in Chief, Elise Matich, for publishing my work again!
